Cherry Watercolor Tutorial for Procreate

Step 1: Let's begin with the Twotap Paper Texture No. 4. Swipe it on the first layer in a light grey color and then lock this layer. For all succeeding layers, set it to Linear Burn so that it will pick up the paper texture details. Next, let's sketch out the composition using the Twotap Colored Pencil No. 14 in a dark green color. Then create the base layer color using the Twotap Wet on Dry No. 8 and the Twotap Blender Wash No. 4.

Step 2: On a separate layer, color in the stems and branches using Twotap Wet on Dry No. 18. Play around with pressure and layering to get that translucent watered-down look.

Step 3: Create a clipping mask for each element, and begin blending out colors using Twotap Wet on Wet No. 8 and Twotap Wet on Dry No. 14.

Step 4: Now add the final details using Twotap Tip Brush No. 4, Twotap Wet on Wet No. 3, and the Twotap Wet on Dry No 19. Add reflective colors to create a realistic look, like how leaves reflect a bit of the red color from the cherry!
