You don't need "talent" to create art you're proud of

Drawing flowers looks simple. But as beautiful as they are, they're also extremely complex living things, full of colour shades and elusive details that can make or break your artwork.

We'll show you the translucent petals, the dusty pollen, the way light hits the curves, the things that need technique and knowledge. This course teaches you that technique.

We start from the very beginning and work our way toward floral illustration mastery, so you leave confident enough to tackle any flower you, or your clients, want.

Start with individual petals, add pollen, then assemble

We build a strong foundation, then layer on everything you need to draw any flower confidently. In this course you'll:

01

Master the basics

Start with different flower petals, learn about all the types of pollen, and get to know various leaves, a strong foundation for every flower you'll draw.

02

Colour the right way

Learn to sequence your layers to capture the natural essence of botanical designs, and how to select the exact colours that make flowers feel alive.

03

Use the right brushes

Get the full brush set we use in the exercises for free, and learn which brushes to reach for with each drawing technique.

04

Capture the details

Paint flowers people recognise right away. Learn to spot and capture the complex details that make each flower unique, plus light, shading and secret speed shortcuts.

You'll learn by doing

Almost every lesson gives you a result you can see on your canvas. And because you keep lifetime access, you can go at your own pace without pressure.
