What you’re probably wondering
What do I need?
An iPad with the Procreate app, which is a one-time App Store purchase. Every course is taught in Procreate on iPad, so you can’t paint along on Android or Windows. An Apple Pencil makes everything easier.
I’m a total beginner. Is this for me?
Yes. The Complete Foundation course assumes you’ve never opened Procreate. Every lesson is a video you can pause and rewatch, so you go at your own speed. And every course opens its first two lessons free, so you can try the teaching before you pay anything.
What if it’s not for me?
Cancel from your Studio profile before the 30-day trial ends and you pay nothing. You do not need to email anyone.
How do the critiques work?
Send in a piece you made. A working artist tells you what’s working, what to fix next, and how. No AI. You can send 1 a week.
Is any of this made with AI?
No. Every lesson is a working artist painting by hand, on camera.
I already own some Twotap courses. What happens to them?
They stay yours for life. The membership adds every other included course for as long as you’re a member.
Is it just courses?
No. You join Twotap Studio, where the 30 courses live, and you also get an artist website, critiques from working artists, live sessions and replays, guest deep dives, challenges, the Gallery and the files that come with each course.
Is there a path to follow, or do I pick courses myself?
Both. “Where do I start?” near the top of this page gives you your first four courses for where you are now: brand new to Procreate, learning a new style, drawing people, or selling your art. After that, pick anything from the catalog: every course on this page is included.
What happens after the 30 free days?
After 30 free days, your first year of Academy is $99. After that it renews at the regular $179 a year until you cancel. The yearly plan includes weekly critiques.
What’s included with the artist website?
A portfolio site inside Studio. Pick a look, turn it live, and share one link (handy for Instagram). Add a way to reach you so people can ask about your work.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you cancel it yourself from your billing page, no email needed. Your progress and certificates stay saved in case you come back. The courses, their brushes and files, critiques, live sessions and the hosted website need an active plan, so download what you’re using while you’re a member.
Which courses are not included?
8: Procreate Masterclass (Legacy), Pet Portrait Purrfection, Oil Landscape Painting, Children’s Book Masterclass, Pattern Mastery Vol. II, Realistic Fruits & Flowers, Create Anything in Procreate and Procreate Take-off Challenge. Everything else in the Twotap library is in the membership: the 30 courses shown on this page are the catalog you get, and new courses join while you are a member. Standalone shop brush sets are sold separately.
Is the Children’s Book course included or not?
“From Manuscript to Printed Book” with Diana McDermott is included. It is one of the 30. The flagship “Children’s Book Masterclass” is the separate one, and is not in the membership. Two different courses, similar names, easy to mix up.
What do I actually download?
81 extras across the 30 courses: project and source files, the brush sets each course is taught with, workbooks and worksheets, and a free-gift pack with every major course. You can also take timestamped notes inside a lesson and export them as a PDF.
