You see a landscape and want to paint it, then open Procreate and freeze. This course gives you a clear order of operations for any scene, so you stop getting lost in details and finish oil-style landscapes with more confidence.

A clear system for landscape painting

You picture a landscape, sit down with your iPad, and suddenly there are too many elements and no clear starting point.

We've spent years refining these techniques with working illustrators, then shaped them into a system you can repeat: what to block in first, what to leave soft, and when to add detail.

You'll learn how to read a scene, keep perspective under control, and paint confidently without chasing every leaf.

A simple framework for complex scenes

The trick isn't painting every leaf. It's knowing which details matter and in what order. In this course you'll learn to:

01

Break any scene into clear steps

See a landscape as sky, land, water and foreground, then build it in a repeatable order.

02

Create depth through layering

Sequence layers so foreground, middle ground and background feel separated and dimensional.

03

Handle clouds and water

Clouds, reflections and mist become straightforward once you know which brushes and passes to use.

04

Keep perspective believable

Get solid perspective and atmospheric touches without turning the lesson into a geometry lecture.

You'll learn by doing

Almost every lesson gives you a result you can see on your canvas. And because you keep lifetime access, you can go at your own pace without pressure.

  1. Today

Download your oil brush set. Two clicks and you're ready to paint your first landscape.

  2. Week 1

Master the building blocks: rocks, trees, water, clouds. Mix and match them in any scene.

  3. Month 1

Paint mountains reflected in lakes. Nail perspective and that mirror-water effect.

  4. Month 2

Finish your second complete oil landscape, ocean cliffs with wildflowers and a rainbow.

  5. Month 3

Call yourself an artist without feeling like an impostor.

Finish 4 complete projects that build your skills naturally

Each project is designed to take the mystery out of landscape painting. By the end you'll have four stunning landscapes and skills you can use across any art style.
