How it works

Three steps. That's the whole thing.

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Tell us your story

How you found art, what kept you going, the pieces that mark it. Share it on video or written down.

  2. 2

    Step 2

We shape it into a feature

We turn it into a story piece, in your words, with your art and your name, and send it to you before anything goes out.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    It reaches the next artist

Your journey lands on our blog, socials and newsletter, where someone who is hesitating to start will see it.

Why this exists

A note from the Twotap team.

There is no single way into art, and that is the best part.

Some of you came to it on a good day. Some to get through a hard one. Some through a class taken on impulse, a gift, a child asking you to draw with them. Some of you have loved it your whole life and are only now making the time. Every one of those beginnings is worth hearing.

Somewhere right now, someone has a blank canvas open and is wondering whether their reason to start counts. It does. Your story is how they find that out.

So we're collecting them: what pulled you in, the pieces that mark the way, what you have made since, and what you want to make next.

The Collective is how you tell your story, and how we get it to the artist who is right at the beginning.

The Twotap team

01

Your story leads, not your résumé.

You do not need a following or a finished style. The honest version of how you got here is the point.

02

Your journey helps the next artist.

Someone hesitating to start will read your story and pick up the pen. That is the whole reason this exists.

03

You choose what is shared.

Your words, your name (or not), your pieces. Nothing goes public without your yes, and it comes down within 7 days if you change your mind.

The tier system

The more you share, the more you unlock.

The first two tiers are open to every artist. Featured Artist is a bonus we build from the Story submissions we love most. Each tier keeps everything from the one before it, so you never lose a reward by going further.

Tier 1

Showcase Artist

Your words alongside your art

What you do

Send your art + a short testimonial (3–5 sentences).

What you get

  • Your artwork listed on the Twotap website
  • A personal thank-you from the Twotap team
  • Early access to new courses
  • 20% off a Summit VIP package
Most loved
Tier 2

Story Artist

Your journey, in front of the whole community

What you do

Share your story with us, written or a video, whatever feels natural.

Your face, your voice, inspiring others

What you do

Give us permission to share your story on a wider level, including in our ads.

Everything in Story, plus

We invite Featured Artists ourselves, from the Story submissions that move us most. Share your story first. If we want to build an ad around it, we’ll email you to ask.

The promise

Your story, your terms.

Your words and art stay yours, always

Only what you tick, nothing more

Credit, every time, your choice of name

Change your mind? Gone within 7 days

This is a celebration, not a rights grab. The Twotap team

Questions

Things you're probably wondering.

Anything else? Just email us at support@twotap.art

How you got into art, what kept you going, a piece or two that mark the journey, and, if you were there, what the Summit changed for you. There is no format. Share it on video or written down, whichever is easier.

Yes. 'Why I signed up and what I took away' is exactly the kind of story we're after. That moment is often the turning point another artist needs to see.

We invite Featured Artists ourselves, from the Story submissions that move us most. There's no separate application. Share your story, and if we want to build an ad around it we'll email you to ask your permission first.

Only what's covered by the permissions you tick. If you say yes, we shape your story into a feature (your words, your art, your name) for Twotap's own blog, socials and newsletter, always with full credit. We don't sell your work or license it to anyone else, and we send the feature to you before it goes out.

Yes, always. Email support@twotap.art at any time and we'll remove your content within 7 days, no questions asked. We'll make a note so nothing gets accidentally republished.

Only what you'd like shown. First name only, full name, or a handle. You decide. You can also stay as 'a Twotap artist' if you'd prefer some privacy but still want to contribute.

Not at all. Leave any time by emailing support@twotap.art. Bonuses already received are yours to keep. Future features will simply stop.

Both open tiers work without ever showing your face. A Story can be written, a voice note, or a video of your work rather than you. Featured Artist is the only place video of you comes up, and even then our team edits everything and you approve it before it runs.

We don't pay cash, but every tier includes real bonuses, and each tier keeps everything from the one before it: 20% off a Summit VIP package and early access at Showcase; 20% off a Twotap Academy plan, 40% off a course and 50% off a Summit VIP ticket at Story; and for Featured Artists a full year of Twotap Studio access plus a Summit VIP ticket. The point is community, not commerce.

That's lovely. Follow along on Instagram, we'd love to have you there. The Collective is specifically for artists who want to put their journey where others can find it.

Yes. The beginning is the part people relate to most. Someone hesitating to pick up an iPad for the first time needs to hear from the person who did it a month ago, not only the person who has done it for ten years.

So. Want to tell us how you got here?

It doesn't need to be polished. A short video or a few written paragraphs is enough to start, and we'll take it from there.
